Based on the results published by the various states and the NCBE announcements so far, we have put together the infographics showing the passing statistics for the 2022 Bar Exams in February and July.
Excluding New Hampshire who has not published their statistics and the various non-state territories (e.g., Guam, Virgin Islands), it appears that the national statistics were approximately 53% in February and 67% in July. This would be about a 6% and 7% increase compared to 2021, a positive sign for test takers in the United States. It does appear that the changes were more dramatic in February which is to be expected as that exam tends to accumulate a greater variety of exam-takers (re-takers, international applicants, second-state applicants, etc.).
Good luck to anyone who just completed the February 2023 Exam!
