Has the Virus Delayed February 2020 Bar Results Release

It appears that the spread of the Coronavirus and subsequent closure of the State Bar offices has not impacted the release of February 2020 Bar Results.

A couple states did delay their results by a few days, but looking at the big picture most states are right on track or actually early.

The following states have already released their scores:

Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

At present, the statistics are not heartening — all but one state has shown a drop in passage rates again. Several fell far more than 5%, and Kansas more than 15%. Given the difficulty getting into the July 2020 exam at this point, we hope the coming states show better figures.
